FOODFast 2020 will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in the St Philip School Hall located at 25 France Street.  Throughout the day we will pray, learn about hunger both here in Fairfield County and around the world, and also have FUN!

The Middle School program will be similar, except it will end at 7:00 pm Saturday night with the participants expected to return on Sunday morning at 9:00 am to participate in the Closing Mass.

The Closing Mass will be 10:00 am Sunday morning, February 23, 2020, where all Participants along with their Families will come together to break their fast at the Lord's table with the Eucharist.

Starting now and throughout Lent, Participants will be raising funds to support Catholic Relief Services in their work around the world.  Money can also be designated to be used right here in Norwalk at the Open Door Shelter or the St Philip Parish Food Pantry.

Matthew 25:35-40

For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
